Foundations of Grace by Steven J. Lawson
In this book Dr Lawson shows how seven key doctrines emerged repeatedly throughout the Bible: divine election, divine reprobabtion and the five doctrines of grace. Beginning with Genesis and continuing through Revelation, Dr Lawson demonstrates God’s sovereignty in the administration of His saving grace. This book is an extremely helpful resource for anyone interested in studying deeper the Biblical presentation of God’s sovereign work in salvation. As a follow up to the Bible Class on Creation, Jim Lucas will be leading a field trip August 31th where you can see actual fossils up close. The trip will be from 8:30am – 5:30pm. The cost will be $3 to cover materials and hand-outs. For more details and sign ups, please contact Jim.
On Sunday, September 8, all Bible Classes will resume at 9:00 AM. There will also be a potluck after the morning service. More details will be provided soon.

A new Women’s study begins on Wednesday 9:30-11:15 AM October 2 and runs through November 20. The study will cover “Knowing God by Name: A Personal Encounter” by Mary Kassian. Jennie Pickens will be leading the study. Childcare is provided. Sign-ups will begin on Sunday, September 8th.
