In this book Dr Lawson shows how seven key doctrines emerged repeatedly throughout the Bible: divine election, divine reprobabtion and the five doctrines of grace.  Beginning with Genesis and continuing through Revelation, Dr Lawson demonstrates God’s sovereignty in the administration of His saving grace. The Man Christ Jesus – Mini Conference

The Gospel Coalition Pastors Group of Whatcom County Presents:

Ware_Mini_ConfTheologian Bruce Ware will be presenting “The Man Christ Jesus: Theological Reflections on the Humanity of Christ.” Join brothers and sisters from churches throughout Whatcom County for this stimulating time of teaching and fellowship.

Session 1: Jesus’ Life, Ministry, and Miracles, as a Man in the Power of the Spirit

–Break and Fellowship Time–

Session 2: Jesus’ Resisting Temptation and Growth in Faith as a Man in the Power of the Spirit

Child care up to 3 yrs old will be provided.

Fossil Field Trip

As a follow up to the Bible Class on Creation, Jim Lucas will be leading a field trip August 31th where you can see actual fossils up close.  The trip will be from 8:30am – 5:30pm.  The cost will be $3 to cover materials and hand-outs.  For more details and sign ups, please contact Jim.

Women’s Ministry

A new Women’s study begins on Wednesday 9:30-11:15 AM October 2 and runs through November 20. The study will cover “Knowing God by Name: A Personal Encounter” by Mary Kassian.  Jennie Pickens will be leading the study. Childcare is provided. Sign-ups will begin on Sunday, September 8th.
